Our European Prime Oak tops are handcrafted from locally sourced solid oak, using full-length staves for a clean, contemporary look. Each piece is carefully selected for minimal knots and even tone, with flowing natural grain and a smooth, refined finish. Sealed with three coats of eco-friendly hard wax oil, these tops are built to be both beautiful and durable. Our Character Oak tops, by contrast, feature more knots and natural markings along the grain—celebrating the unique texture and personality of the wood.

This finish is very subtle, with a delicate milky effect. As the name suggests, it creates a soft natural tone that is uniform and light, giving it a modern appeal with minimal tone variation. The prime oak grain comes up in a smooth regular almost solid tone. Unlike the Sea Mist finish, the White Oak has a totally natural raw wood look.
